Laia Falcón
Laia Falcón has received important awards and fellowships,  such as the Best Performer at Mozarteum-SOAK (Austria, 2009), Best AIE Singer (2008,2009) or Best Singer at Alfredo Krauss Singing Chair ESMRS (2009). She has recorded for Danska Radio, Radio Nacional de España, Radio 4 Netherland ..., and has performed as soloist in Austria, Spain, France, Holland, Belgique, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Japan, Brasil in concert halls such as Biennale di Venezia, Salla Toscanini at Teatro alla Scala di Milano, DeSingel of Amberes or Teatro Real de Madrid
In the ongoing of her education and training as a soprano, she has had regular meetings  with Tom Krause and his team (Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía) and with Helen Donath, Mijail Eliasen, Reri Grist, Teresa Berganza, James Conlon, I. Cotrubas, J. P. Blivet, G. Chamine, Jeff Cohen (Conservatoire Superieur de Paris), A. Parejo (Conservatorio de Madrid), Barbara Bonney (Mozarteum), E. Berkeley, and Paul Sperry, Lorrain Nubar (Julliard School), Philip Frohnmayer (Loyola University New Orleans), E. Mathis, N. Shetler (Vienna Conservatory) R. Piernay (Guildhall), R. Gothóni, E. She holds a Mayor in Piano and Music (Real Conservatorio Superior of Madrid and Conservatorio Superior of Salamanca), and has learned from Maestros De Raco, Chodos, Della Vigne, G. Gonzalez, Mesropian, Badalian, Ponce... Under Feutchwanger coaching performed as soloist at the Wiener Saal of the Mozarteum in Salzburg.

  1. Teaching trajectory as a teacher and researcher, Laia Falcón is faculty member at the "Department I of Media and Advertising" of Complutense University of Madrid since 2006, focusing on Music for Media, Building of Characters, Media Literacy and Gender Studies. As an indicator of the evolution and quality of her teaching labor, it may be underlined that she has being awarded ten times with the "Excellence Teaching Mention" of the Docentia Program (over the 95% of the teaching community of Complutense University) for the subjects "Music Aesthetics for Media", "Film Direction", "Media creation", "Advertising Creativity", "Advertising Production" and "Estructure of Radio Broadcasting".

She has been academic and scientific coordinator of the "École Doctorale d’Été" hosted by Sorbonne University of Paris (Paris 3) and Complutense University of Madrid (2012-2013), faculty member on Media Literacy of the Master Program on "Prevention of Social Risks" of the University Paris 12-Créteil Val de Marne and visitor professor on Media Literacy and the Education Faculty of UNICAMP University of Brazil. In 2014 she is elected Board Member of the Research Group on Sociology of Art of the International Sociological Association, as an expert on Music, Media Literacy and Communication.

Since 2013 she is the Director of the interdisciplinary academic seminar on Collective Intelligence and Communication. Since 2007 she has been active member of eight official projects of Pegagogical Innovation at Complutense University.
